Our C.O.S.H.H. Courses

This course is designed as a basic introduction to the identification of potentially hazardous substances. It is suitable for anyone working with chemicals who needs to understand the potential risks of those hazards and includes the implementation and management of control methods to reduce them. At the end of this course you will be able to complete a COSHH assessment.

Manual Handling

Our Manual Handling Courses

Knowing how to safely lift and move another person correctly can prevent injury and long-term musculoskeletal problems that carers can be at risk of. Our knowledgeable health and safety trainers will work with your team, helping them learn practical manual handling, lifting and lowering techniques, as well as carrying out risk assessments and managing incidents related to manual handling.

Our manual handling awareness course is aimed at anyone involved in manual handling at work in all industries, but particularly in the care sector, including home care, residential care homes, and hospitals. Participants will learn the hazards of manual handling, the risks and how to reduce them effectively. All our manual handling course content aligns with current UK safety regulations to help your workplace stay compliant. Our training course can be attended at our Leicestershire training centre or your location. The multiple-choice assessment at the end of the half-day course is a simple quiz to test the team’s knowledge of the content that has been covered.
